Oddly enough, KMS2 still sends these packets. KMS2 has slowly been removing all data in regards to Mushking Royale from the client. Not to mention, their server is sending Survival (aka Mushking Royale) packets to the client. For a server that made their emulator in 7 months, it sure seems unlikely to code > 1000 mobs and NPCs under 7 months (along with everything else!) is unrealistic. The AI is not provided in the client data either. Each mob tends to have their own AI that needs to be manually handled. Mob AI is how mobs behave, perform certain actions under certain conditions, targeting, etc. One of the biggest hassles the current open source emulator has is Mob AI. If the server was coded all from scratch, why would they implement the same bug KMS2 has? It doesn't make sense.ĭeveloping an emulator from scratch in 7 months is nearly impossible. One of their server admins responds with the following: Players have reported bugs that are occurring in game. If they knew anything about the game itself, they would know what kind of events they should implement. They become useful assets to you to bring to the table. You start to see how things can be implemented - such as events, custom content, implementations, etc. What's there to be familiarized? Usually when you code the server, you get familiarized with how the game operates. Actually, why would they even "code" the block to begin with?Īll that needed to be done was change the value on the XMLs for the client and gender check on the server. If they coded the server, it would've been obvious to un-block this. Early on, the admins expressed interest in wanting to allow same-sex marriage in game, but still needing to figure out how.
